I had the privilege of attending the Global Leadership Summit last week for the third year in a row. The GLS is put on each year by Willow Creek in Chicago and has been an invaluable source of encouragement for me each time I’ve attended.
If you’ve never gone before, I highly recommend it! Don’t be intimidated by the word “leadership” – YOU are a leader! Everyone is. Whether you’re an executive, a volunteer, an employee, a parent, or a friend, you have influence over other people and your leadership matters.
Somehow it always feels like the speakers know just what I need to hear, and this year was no different. As always, there were some killer quotes! Here are 18 of my favorites:
