It’s easy in this life to focus on the unfulfilled It’s easy in this life to focus on the unfulfilled dreams, the promises we haven’t seen, the bucket list items still yet to check off.But what blessings have you already seen? What have you already gotten to do in life that you once hoped and prayed for? I’ve spent months organizing everything I own, and I’ve spent months organizing everything I own, and it’s been quite a task, sometimes an emotional one.Sometimes that emotion has been sadness. Other times, it’s been gratitude. Though I’ve faced grief and disappointment in life - Haven’t we all? - I can see how God has been with me when I look back on my life as a whole. The little blessings, the people he sent, the experiences I’ve gotten to have, even through seasons that were just plain hard.Sometimes life can feel like one difficult season after another, but when you look at the big picture, you just might find more evidence of God’s faithfulness than you expected. What does a biblical definition of love actually l What does a biblical definition of love actually look like? The famed “love passage” in 1 Corinthians 13 gives us a pretty good idea:“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.”‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭13‬:‭4‬-‭8‬ ‭NIV‬‬
